Bro. Chris Cowen has been our pastor since Cornerstone began on February 20, 2005. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior on January 9, 1972, and was licensed and ordained to the Gospel Ministry in December 1976, by Blackwater Baptist Church in Daleville, Mississippi. After beginning as a youth minister in his first church, he has served four other pastorates, as well as spending nearly five years in evangelistic/revival ministry. Shara is also very active in church ministry serving as a women's Sunday School teacher and Women's Ministry Leader. Chris and Shara were married on May 30,1970, and have two daughters, Christy and Amy. God has also blessed them with three grandchildren, Ashlyn, Claire, and Bennett. |

Shawn Wilkerson began as Cornerstone’s Assistant to the Pastor / Minister to the youth in December 2007, and was licensed by CBC on October 5, 2008. As a teenager, he received Christ as his personal Savior on July 17, 1987. He surrendered to God’s call to the ministry in January of 2006. Cornerstone is the first church where he has served on staff. Shawn and Jennifer were married on April 15, 1995. God has blessed them with two children, Austin and Tara. Jennifer serves as the Church Clerk and Secretary. |
