The Family at Cornerstone loves to sing! We enjoy getting excited about God! The JOY of the Lord is our strength!

The motive of the music ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church is to honor our Master. Our musicians understand their role as worship leaders. They are not performers but prompters, leading others to worship the Lord.

The music of Cornerstone is a blended style of hymns and choruses. We sing those choruses that honor God and are true to his Word, but we love those old hymns which are so theologically sound and doctrinally rich.

Our worship, in and through the music ministry, is to bring pleasure to God. He loves music. He created it. More than anything we want to use it for Him. It is our JOY to worship Him and praise Him.

The Psalmist says: Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with tambourine and dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
